Teachers Planner Files To Download

As you may have seen from my last post, I designed a layout that I wanted my Teachers Planner to look like. I have now made the files and with the help of Ray over at  My Life All In One Place, they have now been merged and the dates added. The pages consist of a day on two pages, with the 5 lesson planner on the left and notes/tasks for the day on the right, a two page spread for each weekday (so Monday to Friday): Followed by the…

Teacher Planning Pages For My Filofax

Last night inspiration struck just as I climbed into bed and I just had to get it drawn out on paper while I had the excitement flying around my head – I knew I wouldn’t be able to get to sleep until I did anyway! So after about an hour or so of drawing in my square grid notebook (that is actually a bit smaller than A5 which will mean there is definitely enough room for the Filofax holes and also possibly a bit more space to put the entire…

Time for some different inserts

Since term ended in July I have not been using a diary to write appointments in or to do lists, but that has now changed as I forgot what day it was the other day so missed a meeting! It wasn’t anything life or death but I still should have been there. So after I got last weekend out of the way I clicked on over to Philofaxy to check out what pages I could try out whilst I do not have a teaching job to plan for as the…

New Project #1 RPi

This morning one of the pieces of my new project arrived: Some of will probably know what this is without much need for an introduction, but for the rest of you that don’t, it is a Filofax Finsbury. It is an A5 one in Raspberry… She doesn’t quite lay flat just yet but that is something we will be working on during the training phase of the project 🙂 So, what is this project and what is the training phase all about? I am eagerly awaiting for my Raspberry Pi…

Zip Pockets for A5

I am setting up one of my A5 Filofax so that I can start to properly manage my money. For this I am going to use some zipped files to keep track of things. Rather than spend a fortune of Filofax ones I found some bright coloured zip files in Sainsbury’s, 3 in a pack for £0.99 so I thought they would be a good idea. They are designed to hold an A5 sheet of paper so are in fact just larger all the way round than A5 so they…

A5 Zipped Holborn

It’s been in use for a week now and I have to say It has been a pleasure! I have customised my own inserts so that I can use it to plan my lessons amongst the rest of my day and see a month overview at a glance. Above you can see I have been planning my day and any notes or reminders for the day are at the bottom of the page. Was a little worried the lilac of the paper would be too much but having used it…

A5 zipped Holborn ordered…

Oh dear indeed. I have been looking over the A5 Filofax for a while now. Bearing in mind I already own an A5 zipped Lyndhurst which I have used a bit but it’s so heavy so I switched to my personal Songbird. I have been using it as my planner for work, so I know what I am teaching all my classes but it’s not quite big enough to write much in for that particular purpose. I have been particularly eyeing up the A5 purple Malden and the A5 zipped…

A5 pages in my personal are annoying

So last week I put some A5 pages I’d made into my personal (punched along the top short edge and folded) so I could write more on the pages. Turns out I don’t like this and it looks messy. Am also not sure if I like the week to view with dpp in between, mainly because there are 7 days in a week but that needs 8 sides of paper and therefore one of next weeks days is not where it should be. For this reason I might resort to…
